An evening of community and generosity

On January 31, 2026, Salsabeel Charity hosted Abbotsford’s second annual Ramadan Bazaar at OPEX Abbotsford. The event brought together 150 community members for an evening of shopping, food, activities and charitable giving ahead of Ramadan.

The bazaar provided a welcoming venue for local businesses to showcase their work and connect with new customers. Vendors generated more than $3,000 in revenue while attendees enjoyed Egyptian goods, artisan and vintage products, Middle Eastern food and drinks, henna and a photo booth.

Thank you to our volunteers

Our volunteers made the day possible. They helped with setting up and taking down the event, welcoming guests, coordinating vendors, handling logistics, supporting sales, serving food and stepping in wherever assistance was needed.

Their time, energy and positive spirit helped the event run smoothly and created a welcoming environment for everyone who attended. We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our volunteers and for the way they represented Salsabeel’s values.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to OPEX Abbotsford for hosting the event, as well as to every vendor, supporter and community member who contributed to its success.
