Education changes what comes next

Help a student remain in school.

Education support can cover tuition, books, equipment, transportation and essential living expenses. By responding to the specific barriers a student faces, one donation can protect years of effort and open the door to long-term independence.

Support is based on an individual assessment of need.
Funding is directed to defined education-related costs.
Local relationships help Salsabeel follow progress over time.

A student’s perspective

What this support makes possible.

Education assistance helps students remain focused on their studies instead of being forced to choose between school and basic living costs.

“Salsabeel’s support has reduced the pressure of tuition, housing, transportation and living away from my family. It has given me hope, strength and encouragement to keep working hard. My goal is to graduate in 2027 and return to Siwa to serve my community.”

How it started

A family commitment that grew into a charity.

Salsabeel began with Nehal Azab's longstanding commitment to helping people facing hardship in Egypt. Together with her son, Eiad El Fateh, she turned individual acts of giving into an organization that could invite others to help.

The charity was incorporated in Canada in 2022 and received registered charitable status in 2024. The founding idea remains simple: stay close to the people being assisted and treat every person with dignity and care.
