A story of recovery

Mohammed’s recovery and return to school.

In 2022, Mohammed Ahmed, then 12 years old, was struck by a speeding car and suffered a serious fracture to his right leg.

His initial surgery was mostly covered, but follow-up treatment and extensive rehabilitation were not.

Salsabeel contributed more than $1,000 to help cover costs that were beyond his family’s means.

The assistance helped Mohammed continue his recovery while easing pressure on a family already affected by caregiving and lost work.

Recovery update

By 2025, Mohammed was walking again and had returned to school. Timely follow-up care helped him recover and resume his normal life.
